Another Oregonian
I've owned a kilt for seven weeks now. I picked my first Utilikilt up at the Oregon Country Fair after lusting for several years. I thought I'd wear it for special occasions and parties. When I got it home, I put it on regimentally and went out in my fenced back yard (nice and safe, you know). That was the first time I felt the cooling breeze on me boys.
Since then, I've tried it at work with no adverse reactions. I enjoyed it so much, I tried it all week. Obviously, one kilt isn't enough for daily wear, so I ordered another UK. (It came in 4 working days.) Two is good, but three would be a better rotation so I have another on order. I'm about to finish three weeks straight in kilts.
Every morning, I still am amazed at how damn good these things feel. I know I'm hooked. Now I spend most of my spare time reading the kilt forums here, Kiltmen, the Yakoo UK list and Kilt Review or lusting over the many kilt maker sites. Is there any hope for me? :o
All I can say is, I'm glad I'm not alone. Great resource and community here, thanks.

Unfortunately, you have been assimilated and there is no hope. ;)

The good news is that you are now a part of both. I hope you enjoy the time you spend with us.

Indeed kilted brother, there is no hope for you nor any of us here (not like we want any help anyway). Enjoy your kilts and the forum!

The only help I'd be interested in is in getting more kilts. 8)

Once you don the kilt, you have no more hope except to enjoy wearing the kilt. WELCOME
