    Shortening Length

I've got a short and hopefully simple question.I have several several SW standerds. The length comes just to the bottom of my knees.I'm going to hem it up so that it comes to the top of my knees.I hav a copy of The Art of Kilt Making which has instructions for doing so.I was wondering if there is any thing else I should be aware of before I start.

Unless there's something odd about a Stillwater standard (I've not actually seen one), it should be a very straightforward job!

Thanks for the reply.Nothing looks odd,but.... Right now my hands on experiance is limited to UKs, SWs and the kilt I'm making myself.I'm still learning whats odd and whats normal when it comes to kilts.Again,thanks.

There were instructions for doing this on their site at one time. Maybe someone here still has a copy of those.
