Dallas kilt night- Nov 19
Sorry for the late notice, but what the heck. See if you can make it.
The new Celtic group Needfire will be playing at the Tipperary Inn (www.tippinn.com) in Dallas this Saturday. The piper is a member of the Fort Worth Scottish, so we'll be there to play a set or three. I hope some of you can make it. I'll be the guy in the red kilt.

Sorry to say, Needfire is a fairly new band and I've never heard them. (I don't get out much). http://www.needfire.com/ Their site describes them as, well, it doesn't actually describe them at all. There's lots of news and reviews, but nothing that introduces the band to you. They look like a bunch of losers to me, especially that one guy. (Ok, it's a joke. Relax.) Anyway, Brad, the piper guy, is a top level amatuer piper. He and I are both members of the Fort Worth Scottish Pipes and Drums. The pipe band will be there Saturday to kind of set the mood before Needfire plays. You should come on down for some good music and some irreparable hearing damage.

Mine & I can't make it. But I will pass it on to the TSF crowd.

Here's a link to their web site: http://www.needfire.com
If you follow the "Music" link, you can hear some sound clips.
I'll have to see if I can rearrange this weekend's schedule to make it down there.
Regards,
Mark
