New Style SWK Sporran
Just glancing at Stillwater's web site and see on the home page that Jerry has a new sporran...
http://www.stillwaterkilts.com/
Make sure you watch the see it in action video. Check out the web belt using the Black kilt buckle...hmmmmmm.
If you were looking for something for those contemporary kilts...?
Keep your eyes out for Jerry's new line of Ghillie Brouges with rocket boosters hidden in the souls also ;) I think he's designing the "True" Scottish James Bond wardrobe for commando ops :-D

It looks like something I need to look into. I don't carry a gun but the quick access looks promising.

Now that the cat is out of the bag, I've seen the sporran and it's wonderful.
It answers a LOAD of concerns and comments that guys have raised for a functional, rugged and affordable sporran.
The material won't rub-off on tartans. It's light-weight, traditional looking and won't draw attention as a "new" sporran.
I'm sure that Jerry's original design for this thing will only bring Stillwater MORE success in the very near future. You know that I'm in for atleast one of these babies!!!

That is cool. Wouldn't carry a weapon myself, but it would be great for a cop who's kilted in off hours. I think it would be a great place to put a digital camera. Easy access to it while vacationing without having to mess with the rest of the stuff in the sporran. And I like that zipper on the flap, perfect place for spare change.

That's a very cool idea for a sporran. It gives new meaning to ''is that a gun in your pocket, or...oh...it is a gun!'' :-)

I have a conceal and carry license, but I'm not sure my need to carry at Highland events etc. is greater than my desire to avoid a nylon, fanny pack looking sporran hanging from my lap.
Furthermore, there have been some fellow pipers with bad technique or out of tune pipes at events I might have been tempted to shoot had I been carrying at the time (either the pipes, the player, or both!).

Don't you think you are advertising by wearing a gun belt? Hay wait! I like the gun belt with celtic buckle. Sort of brings out the wild side .
nylon with tassles and all I have is a turned around fanny pack.

I got to see the pics a couple of days ago, before it was put on their website. I must say that it is something I will definitely be ordering once they're ready for the public. A great sporran idea for casual kilts!
