New NYC area Kilt wearer
Greetings all,
just taking a quick second to introduce myself. I am fairly new to the world of kilt wearing , having made & worn my first kilt only 6 months ago. Am now ADDICTED to them and working on kilt #5 for myself and on making a couple for friends as well.
Am totally stoked at reading the posts of so many other kilt makers out there (thought i was one of few and far between who knew how to sew and arent afraid to admit it)
Am learning more & more about the variety of kilt options out there. Up until now I have limited my efforts to the casual/"Utilikilt" styled garments but am going to give a more traditional knife pleated variety a try next and then maybe the box pleated.
looking forward to chatting with y'all more as I explore the site more & get to know more about the wonderful world of kilts.

p.s. for all the Kiltwearers in the NYC /NJ area, I am part of a group of guys determined to spread the joy of kilts in our area by venturing out en mass on a regular basis. Will post onfo on the KILT NIGHTS part of the site in the very near future...
