NATO issue Gordon Kilt
I finally bought a new camera and took some pictures of the Gordon Kilt that I bought from an army surpluss store in the UK.

As you can see it looks good, even though I had to get some tailoring done. I also have some other pictures of it up on my site.
Now for some shameless self promotion: Please visit my site, look around and give me some feedback. This is all just a hobby but I realy value any comments. Also don't forget my blog.

Tim,
First of all, I wanted to say congratulations on persuing your Masters. I know what it's like to do that plus support a family. I was 39 when I received my Masters in Operations Management from the University of Arkansas (Go Hogs!!).
Second, I think you have the makings of an excellent web site and blog in the works. It looks very professional.
Third, as a lady said to me recently, "you look like a man born to wear the kilt." That new Gordon look exceptionally good, but you also look equally good in your Uk's.
Best wishes on completing your thesis and earning your Masters.
Darrell

Tim, that is a good looking kilt. I like the colors, and it looks great with the Xmarks kilt pin.
What is tucked into the kilt belt? A knife? Will check out your site next.

Army Surplus Kilt....I never would have thought of looking for one there. It looks like who ever altered it for you did a damn fine job. What does the shirt say?
I enjoyed your blog posts and the pics in your kilts, now you just need more of both. They were so well written and interesting I want more. :-)
I hope you don't mind but I may show your pic off to a friend whom is thinking about "maybe....possibly....wearing a kilt." He will like that its a NATO issue and they way you wear it casual but very neat and clean. My friend's wife actually suggested wearing a kilt to him. Ain't that the way with women
Oh and my wife likes you the pic of you and your bride getting into a mini-cooper. She wants one

Actually, it would be UK issue, not NATO. Just happens to have a NATO stock number, as does every piece of kit issued to any NATO member.
Looks good regardless. Quality with a Broadarrow.
