Happy St. Patty's Day Everyone!
I figured there'd already be a threat for this, but I was wrong. So, I figured I'd start it. Happy St. Pat's Day to everyone here, particularly our Irish members. Remember, EVERYONE is Irish on Saint Patrick's Day!
Be careful out there, it is amateur night!
Cheers! :B
When we drink, we get drunk.
When we get drunk, we fall asleep.
When we fall asleep, we commit no sin.
When we commit no sin, we go to heaven.
So, let's all get drunk, and go to heaven!

I'm watching a show about St Pats Day and they showed film of a parade in NYC. I almost spit my beer at one point. They're talking about the Irish and there's a pipe band playing Scotland the Brave. I couldn't help but laugh.

Not much here in the canyonlands...a few coworkers wearing green, me in my Ireland's National semi-traditional from USA Kilts and Northern Arizona Irish Foundation t-shirt.
Afterwork at Safeway a high school girl stopped yacking on her cell phone long enough to give me a sincere, "Nice kilt."

If the pic won't open for you go to the bottom of Page 1 of my gallery and open the Ireland's National album.

Happy St. Patricks Day!
An Old Irish Blessing
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

There are more Irishmen than Scots in my tree, though I've got a Scottish name. I've always used my mixed Celtic heritage as an excuse to celebrate both countries' best attributes.

Hi all,
Happy St. Patrick's Day to you all.
Interesting to see how the Irish-American tradition of celebrating St. Patrick's Day has made its way round the world, now even to the "Old Country".
