    New Stillwater weathered Lamont

Ok, I've had this one for about 2 weeks now and finally got some pictures taken in it. I'm still waiting on a brown sporran and belt, I think they'll look better than the black, and some grey and oatmeal hose. Hell the kilts aren't expensive, it's all the foofuraw that goes with them that'll break you. What do you think of my new "clown shoes"? I haven't decided if I like them much or not, they're a square toed wingtip that look a bit longer than they really are.

I still need to get some pictures up of my new Stewart Hunting 5 yarder from Scottishkilts.net

    Looking good!

I like the shoes. I think you should wear them. For stomping out the naysayers.

Never been a big fan of brown, but I must admit I might have to reconsider... That kilt looks stylish

Actually, I've got this kilt too and was thinking of getting the brown sporran and belt but now that I see the pic I think I like the black. Hmmm decisions, decisions.

Looks very nice. You may even consider a simpler belt to make everything look more casual. The embossing on the belt provides a lot of "action" for the eye to take in, a smooth belt would simplify it a lot.

Nice picture. I really like that tartan and may have to order one. I think black or brown sporran and belt works with this kilt. I like the shoes also. That tan colored top really coordinates well with the kilt. Can't tell what color the hose are that you are wearing, but oatmeal hose would go great with that tartan.

This tartan seems to be a smashing hit...and with reason!

Nice look! I really like that tartan. It seems like there are not that many in brown tones. I think that I would go with brown accesories, but the black matches fine as well.

    Thanks guys.
cavscout, I have a plain black and plain brown Sam Browne belt coming, this one's just left over from my cop days a long time ago, back when they actually wore leather.

Gotta say I'm pretty impressed with Stillwater's wool kilts. I can't wait to see what new wool tartans they'll have to offer. Maybe we should bombard Jerry with requests for our favorite tartans. I'd like to see Stewart hunting and Cameron of Erracht.
