What's your favorite pic of the OTHER guys kilt.
OK, so we all post pics of ourselves, but I want to know what your favorite kilted pic is of someone ELSE, here on X Marks.
I have a few that I remember, so here goes...
Graham...I think Graham looks great in a kilt. Graham, even though you posted this picture a long time ago, it had an effect, and I STILL say..."If Graham can wear a kilt in places like this, then so can I!"
I just haven't done it, yet.
It's partly the kilt, and partly the setting, you know?
Another favorite is this one. Is it because of the great looking green kilt, the good lookin' lad, or that handsome lass on his arm in that skirt? Or maybe it's because I'm partial to gray stewart?
I like this because I'm a MacNaughton, and that's just a darned nice kilt that Mister Phil has on right there. Nice job, Rocky at USA Kilts! Phil, because of this picture, I'm going to go hunting for a brown belt and sporran to wear with my MacNaughton kilt. This picture convinced me.
Finally, Bob C. I really dig that Borders tartan, and the jacket looks great. Some people won't like the tartan tie together with the jacket, but you know, I think it works in this pic. I remember this picture as one that illustrates simply...how to put it all together and make it look *right*.
I learn more about what I like and what works (IMHO) by looking at all of your pictures than from almost anything else. So, THANKS, ladies and gents!

It's hard to say. Grahams and Riverkilts outdoor shots, and Hamish's of course. Plus any that illustrate simply how to put it all together and make it look right. I enjoy seeing any and all kilted pics.

I'm flattered to be on your list so I thought I'd add a couple of my favorites too.
First, Robin in his Isle of Skye - one of my all time favorite tartans - its absolutely grand and Robin looks so comfortable it gives me something to strive for.
Then there's Martin in his Ancient Paisley - a stunning kilt and the setting is just amazing - makes me want to quit my job, buy a plane ticket, and stroll the countryside.
Though I don't have photos too attach - I heartily agree with Graham - so many great photos of him kilted in the snow, in the fog, and on the beach - the great kilted adventurer.
Finally - no list of photo favorites could end without some mention of Hamish. His photo album site is THE textbook for kilted fashion.
I know I've missed many others - but I'm sure someone else will chime in here and add their names.

What a great idea Alan, thanks!
Last year I put together a large collage of kilt pics from this board and various galleries...must be a hundred pics on it, hangs on the inside of the door to my office so clients can look at it when the door is closed. A lot of you guys pics are in there.
My favorite pics are the ones that give me ideas. Like the pic here of a jean jacket with a tartan kilt. Never would have thought that would work so well...jean jacket makes a nice option to the sporran too.
Or the lost pic of the guy who wore an aloha shirt open over a t-shirt with a kilt solving the kilt and Hawaiian shirt dilema for me.
And the scenics like Graham's are always breathtaking. I like Ham's because they capture the kilts and accessories in such detail.
They're all good.

Guys have posted a bazillion good pics here in the sixteen months I've been hanging around... Listen up, just because I didn't stick yours in my list doesn't mean I didn't learn something from you.
I've learned more from Hamish and Ron's galleries than you can shake a stick at! I could list a dozen more, EASILY, so I just slapped up there four that came to mind as having an *effect*...as in they really changed something about how I wear kilts or thought about kilts or tartan in some way.
Pics of the Freedom Kilt "Casual", just hanging on the hanger come to mind. ARRRRRRRR...'cause now I WANT one!

I'd have to say any of Graham's or Ron's outdoor pics. One of my favorites from Ron is of him in his Arizona flag Pittsburgh kilt. Of course, Ham looks so natural in kilts that all of his pics are good.

WOW, This is a tough one to answer. Every Kilt shot is good, but every Kilt is good. They all stand out throughout the day and various times they all come up in my mind. At this moment is the multi-faceted one of Hamish where he is sitting and standing around in his garden.
Family shots come to mind like Prester John with his sons all Kilted. Freelander (David) with his children on holidays.
I guess what I am saying whatever is on my mind at the time, that is my favorite Kilt shot.

I have to say that my favorite is this one from Hamish:
