Hypothetical Question
Hell-o all,
Just wondering, if Kilts were to be outlawed worldwide, would we all be law breakers? Would we "push the envelope" in order to wear the Kilt, or would we be secret Kilt wearers?
Like I said just wondering.

If I had not already started wearing them , Outlawing them would be just the thing to make me start!

That's a scary thought. But aren't we all pushing the envelope as it is, wearing cilts full/most of the time. I'll keep wearing them even if they were outlawed.

Interesting thought. I would keep wearing them I suppose. Then again we could form our own Kilted Country.

Some laws were meant to be broken! I would still wear mine.

Depends on the level of enforcement. Death penalty and gangs of informants? Pants.

I don't know, I'm really not much of a law breaker so I probably wouldn't, at least in public. I would be very vocal in overturning the law however.

That's an interesting idea. Maybe after forming our own country, we could declare war of then USA and after being defeated, they'd give us billions in aid to rebuild. Think of all the kilts we could buy then. I think there was actually a movie with that as a theme.

How about this scenario; suppose the government got the people to believe through deceit that they were liable for a tax but no law was ever written to make the people liable for it and the government prosecuted innocent people for not paying it. How long would you put up with it? Would you continue to allow the government to incarcerate innocent people or would you put a stop to it?
