Side Effect of the Fly Plaid

I've noticed a strange effect from wearing the fly plaid. The extra weight on the left side tends to pull the entire jacket to that side. The most visual effect of this is that my right sleeve seemed to be too short while the left sleeve seemed too long. You can see this clearly on the picture below:

    Dave,

Can't argue the point but nevertheless you look spectacular.

In theory there is no difference between theory and practice but in practice there is.

    Dave,

I'm not sure if this would work, but you might try pinning the broach and fly plaid down about an inch lower as well as 1/2 to 3/4 inch closer to the center of your chest.

I agree with NewKilt. Or maybe go for a mini or half fly plaid. You can find some at Alexis Malcolm Kilts. I have one of hers and they are better (IMHO) than the standard fly. BTW the picture is awesome. If you hadn't pointed it out I probably would not have noticed.

I'd never noticed. I'm always leaning towards the right to take the weight off my bad leg so I guess that takes care of it for me. LOL

Seriously, I think you might want to pin it down a little lower on the jacket.

Well then, it looks like that's what is supposed to happen.
