My first kilt: USA Kilts Casual in Navy Stewart

I have worn a few kilts, but this one is MINE! It came in this tiny package:

I couldn't believe something so small and light could be a kilt! But here is is:

Navy Stewart is a fashion tartan. I think it looks sharp, and it coordinates nicely with Xmarks t-shirts as well as the khakis that I like to wear.

    Nicely pleated to sett.

As expected, I am completely satisfied with this kilt. Thank you Rocky!

Sporran is a cheapy from Stillwater. When I walk, the tassels tap against it. It sounds like a toy drum when empty. The hose are brand new - arrived yesterday from Brewin in the UK.

Next day that is unsuitable for motorcycling, I'll wear it to university. It will be interesting to learn how my fellow students react.

    Ron,

Nice outfit. Congratulations on your first kilt. Obviously worth the wait. I love that you caught on film the much talked about, but seldom photographed "swish factor".

    Cheers

I bought my wife a kilted skirt in that tartan last year. It's a wonderful tartan!

    Super pix!

Ron, looks like a very nice tartan and I also like the hose. I have been wavering on getting some of those since Ron posted the link. I think I might have to go ahead, unless I get those fancy ones for my XMarks tartan Ham is wearing in his pictures with Mark!

That looks really good, ronstew. I can see how that tartan would go with a lot of my shirts. The sporran looks fine too. I totally love my Hunting Stewart USAK.

    Nice look,

You'll be ordering more after you've sat through some classes in kilted comfort.
