That's a heck of a deal isn't it. I have never dealt with B&S, but they have an outstanding reputation. Here's hoping the waistcoat gets to you quickly.

Burnett's and Struth is terrific. I've ordered things from them many times. They also make their own Highland dance shoes that are very reasonable in price and very well made.
Just a word of advice to Americans. It depends on what you order from Canada whether you will pay duty or not. If the item is expensive, and it originates outside Canada (e.g., a UK product), you are likely to have to pay duty. And it can be substantial and completely negate the apparent cost advantage over ordering in the US. I ordered a black Argyll jacket for my husband from B&S several years ago, thinking I would save money. By the time I paid the customs duty, the jacket was the same price as if I'd ordered it in the US. And I discovered that, if the jacket had been the wrong size and I had had to return it to B&S for an exchange, I would have had to pay duty _twice_, because duty, once paid, is not refundable. Fortunately, the jacket fit!!
Cheers,
Barb

I've been very happy with the items I've purchased from them. They are consummate professionals. I've also found that, like their products and their service, their prices are a bit premium as well. But I suppose the old saying applies.... you get what you pay for.

Sorry to hear about the flooding.
Just got a email from Carol and it seems the vest they are sending me is the last 48 and I did get this from Carol about their post.
We are sending by mail for you as we do not use Fedex or UPS unless our customer's request it as we know their parcels get stopped by the US customs and get charged duty. Thanks again for your order.
Kindest regards
