Kilt No. 63 has arrived!
OK guys! This has to be quick. I didn't log on for 24 hours (it's now after midnight on Thursday) and there are over 500 new postings, none of which I'll have time to read as I'm heading up to Harpenden later today in readiness for The Harpenden Highland Gathering on Sunday, and will not be home again until late on Monday.
Before I dash off, I thought you'd like to see my 63rd kilt which arrived late on Thursday afternoon. It's the 'Randonnée Bretonne' or 'Brittany Walking' tartan from 'Tartan National Breton' ( http://www.tartanbreton.com ). This beautiful 16oz full 8 yarder came only late in the afternoon but I managed to snap a couple of very quick shots, although I've not had a chance to crop them - and Photobucket still appears not to be resizing. Sorry about that.
Anyway, I'm off to Harpenden and hope to see there on Sunday as many United Kingdom X Markers as possible. Signing off until Tuesday, or very late on Monday!

63 kilts?!?!? Someday, yes, someday, I will reach that mark. Right now, I'm 60 behind you. But anyways, that is a beautiful tartan. I've never seen a Brittany tartan before, but I must say I am a fan.
Oh, and might I add, you have a great fashion sense! All the photos I've seen of you have been most impressive.

Ham,
That Tartan works so wonderfully with the brown accessories!
(You are showing off your Freelander too! I can't wait for mine)
Have a great time at the gathering!

63 WOW!!!!
I would probably end up in the hospital from all the stress of which one to wear on what day. With 63 you can't say you don't have at least 2 or 3 kilts for every possible situation and event. Just which one would be the hardest decision.
Not a bad position to be in. I have to say, there's is got to be a few jealous admierers out there today.
Enjoy

Very classy looking kilt! In fact, I've just decided I need a new tartan kilt with some reds and browns in it.

Isn't that the same tartan that came with his latest kilt pin, the Brittany pin he is wearing. Those folks new what they were doing when they sent that swatch.

(Loud wolf whistles) whhhheeeee, wooohooo, outstanding, prima, toll, klasse, smashing, penultimate! What else can I say, Ham that is one great looking kilt! I have never seen one in those colors and I am lusting after one as I type.
Rob, going to see if he can spend more money on kilts... (Yeah, like that's a problem!)
The kilt concealed a blaster strapped to his thigh. Lazarus Long
