Police Officers On Duty - Kilted

These two City of Flagstaff, Arizona police officers were working the Arizona Highland Celtic Festival yesterday.

Gives a whole new take on wearing kilts to work....

Anyone recognize the tartan? I forgot to ask.

The Mrs. remembers seeing the first guy (I saw the chap in picture #2.) She noticed something wrong with number 2's kilt while there. I just showed her the pictures and she says "Yeah, but it's too long!" I've been teaching her

You know it's going to be a good festival when the police show up dressed for the occasion.

#1 pulls the uniform/boots thing off pretty well - that's a pretty hot look, IMO - he even makes the ankle flashes look cool.

#2 comes off looking a little too Catholic School for me, but I get it that he might have been trying to emulate a uniform with the dark hose. Still, it's excellent to see them join the fun.

I too have seen officers of the law Kilted at various events that are Celtic related. Even the bicycle patrol looked awesome at Estes Park several years ago, riding in the parade.
