I've found my place
Wow a group that has aviation, motorcycles, and Kilts. I'm home! Nice pictures, is that a Cherokee 180? What is all that green stuff in the pictures? Here is a picture of me and the Skybolt. Very Hard to wear a parachute and a Kilt (friends plane).
Now a not so green view of Southern Arizona
Finally a little flying project in the works. The "Rat Kilt" that wouldn't die will be used in the shop this fall.

Great pictures, O'Neille, that's a mean looking Skybolt and Arizona looks brown and parched. Yes, the 'plane is a classic Cherokee 180, built in 1965. There are about twenty of us in the group which operates her so she gets flown a lot in the summer months.

Nice aerial photos. I've made the drive to Campbeltown many times, but never flew. Hope you drank some Springbank while you were there.
Best regards,
Jake

Going off topic for kilts here, but for the benefit of O'Neille and TattooBradley here are closer views of the nearest of the two warbird trainers from the line up in photo 2
This World War 2 Spitfire was later sold to the Israeli Air Force. After retirement it was repatriated to Britain and converted to Spitfire T9 specification - a two seat trainer - for training display pilots on the type.
The smaller De Havilland Canada Chipmunk trainer is also used for displays, but for around £150, you can arrange to have a warbird flying experience on her from Prestwick Airport.
And look at the magnificent landscape in the background.
All the more reason for you guys to come over to Scotland for a holiday!
