Alan, Renegade Kilts, Tell Us About Yourself
Maybe I've missed something, but just notice posts from Alan of Renegade Kilts and the website www.renegadekilts.com
Tell us more. Looks like you've resurrected some of Jeff's ideas at PK with the underapron pocket and have the reverse pleats like UK.
Probably a belated welcome, but more a request to learn more....
Anyone have one of Alan's kilts yet?

The under apron pocket was a sugestion from motorman4life. I liked the Idea so I decided to incorporate in the "Warrior" kilt. As far as the reverse pleats go, I got the idea from the Scottish Tartan Museum. I was looking at some of the old kilts in the museum and saw one with the reverse pleats. I liked the design and thats how that came about. The reverse pleats are only on the Warrior kilt. The other kilts have traditional knife pleats going only one way. Of course if someone wanted the Warrior kilt with thaditional instead of reverse pleats, we will be glad to make it that way.

Cool, so have I been blind or out of touch....? How did I miss your company. Always nice to have more kiltmakers at work...

Ron, This may explain it some more!
Alan is one of our old friends!!
Hello everyone, just thought I would introduce myself. My name is Alan Warwick and I am the owner of Renegade Kilts.
I have been a member here under another name ( snipe481) but since I opened my business I thought it would be better to use my real name instead of an alias.
I am a stay at home dad and since I have all this extra time I opened Renegade Kilts. The kilts are all made by me at my house. If you have any other questions please contact me. By the way, the reason I have been absent as (snipe481) is that I have been very busy starting this business and making kilts. I will try to be more active on this forum now that everything is set up and rolling.
He has been busy getting himself started and now he's "back in business!"

I remember Snipe - the sub guy...
Looks from the website like one of his nitches could be "Pirate Kilts."
