The other night my wife and I were out at an outdoor concert when a man came up to me. He said that his friend noticed me and asked him if I was his neighbor? He told his friend that he really didn't know his neighbors. His friend said "Yeah but he's the one always in a kilt" My neighbor (Ray) then felt he had to come over just to say Hi. It was nice to know that kilts break down barriers. Ray has been our down the street neighbor for 8 yrs, and has never shown any interest in any of his neighbors ( kinda odd but most of us know each other and stop to talk).
I've been noticed by many who remember me, all because of the kilt. It's nice to meet friendly people that otherwise would forget me. So, how many of you are recognized as "that guy in a kilt again"?
