LOL, thanks for the offer I would love to go, but I'm afraid I'd end up drinking anyway (I'm a recovering alcoholic, unfortunately; no more of the black stuff for Seamus, poor lad ) I might go if I had a friend standing by to kick me **** if I pick up any alcohol . . . I just don't want to risk that right now. [well, I do, but it woudn't be wise]

I completely understand but if you really want to go and enough of us do decide to go I'd be happy to buy you a few sodas of your choice and help make sure that you aren't tempted to 'fall off the wagon' so to speak. I'm sure that there are folks that will attend who would make the same offer.
Chris.

Geez Dragon there goes your anonymity! If you ever head up to Devils Canyon for the kilt nite here let me know. I'll help keep you on the straight and not so narrow!

The mooning of Amtrak?.......That sound like fun. I live near the northeast corridor. Lots of trains to chose from.

Glad to hear you all had a good time in Temecula. I was wondering if any of you sociable guys will be able to arrange an evening in Palm Springs whilst I am there between 8th and 18th October? I've already proposed this in another thread but that seems to have died a death.
I'd really like to meet as many as possible of my Californian (and Arizonian, Phil!) kilted brethren during that short visit but, unfortunately, I will not have my own transport and, as I am staying with friends of a friend, I am pretty much in their hands - I'll also need to let them know in advance that on such-and-such an evening I'd like to spend some time meeting up with kindred spirits!
Over to you!
