    Piping Scholarships?

    Hell-o all,

Without hijacking the Irish Studies thread, I do have a question for those more enlightened than I.

I have heard that several institutions of higher education offer scholarships for those wanting to attend college and are adept in piping. Is this true?

I have heard, but not confirmed, that this is the case at SFU in BC.

Lyons College in Batesville, Arkansas has at least one, I think. And Central Michigan in Alma. Why not ask on a piping forum? Try www.bobdunsire.com.

It's actually Alma College, Alma, MI. Central Michigan U. is 20 miles north in Mount Pleasant. Alma is the one that gives the scholarship for Scottish Arts.
