    Help!

I've just taken my Cilt to be dry cleaned. Have to collect it Friday. 48 hours without my Cilt . I do have my Blue Mckay but it doesn't fit properly at all these days, and is now very uncomfy to wear. So I am Cilt-less, and now two days in jeans ahead of me .

    Oh dear!

    What's wrong with the Mackay?

I don't dare to bring my kilts to the dry-cleaner
I handwash them myself (cold water...bit of Woolite)...works great.

Your right .. another Cilt is required. I've already put some money aside but have'nt quite reached the target yet.
In the meantime, as of now, I've only got 23hrs 17mins 7sec until I can collect my Cilt. This will be a great cause for celebration, so I will be opening a few bottles of real ale later tomorrow .. its a pity all you guys live so far away as you could all come around to our place and have a 'bevy'.

Well hope it's back in full order now Derek!

I just ordered my first cilt today from the Welsh Tartan Centre along with all the appropriate Welsh accessories. Have gone for a casual wool Roberts.

Had to query the £31.75 carriage charge though and they promptly replied by both phone (had to leave a message as I was using it) and email and agreed to reduce it to £10. They also stated that they are in the process of revamping the site and the charges as a matter of course.

Full marks so far for their customer service!

It was worth the wait. They did an excellent job of cleaning and pressing the pleats .. looks brand new again. Going on another pub outing today, so I will be extra careful with it.
