Hello from Ohio
Hello. I came across this site about a month ago and joined as a member shortly thereafter and this is my very first post. I live in Ohio, in the Akron area, and have been competing in heavy athletics for about three years now, but I am interested in so much more than just the athletics. I am pleased to become a part of this group as I have a deep appreciation and love of anything connected with Scotland/Ireland; kilts, history, lifestyles, etc.
At this time I have 2 kilts, one economy Black Watch and one Scottish National old Colours from the Strathmore Woolen Company that I wear only on special occasions. However, with all of the good things I have read about Stillwater kilts on this site, I am going to get one of their Black Watch Heavyweight wool kilts, so I will have a traditional kilt that I can wear more often. This leads me to my second post in the ‘For Sale” forum - I am selling my Black Watch economy kilt that I have worn only a few times. The kilt is in excellent shape with no real noticeable wear and for only $10.00 plus shipping it is a nice deal. Look for the post if you are interested.

Welcome to this happy band, Neil. I've only just pitched up here myself, and am wondering why I didn't before. It's a great place to be.

Aye, welcome from the south of England, Neil.
I admire guys like you - it's as much as I can do to lift a matchstick let alone a caber!!
