    Two More Kilts!

I worked overtime last night to this morning, covering for a co-worker. In the meantime, I received a message from my dear wife that a long-awaited (well, since Sunday when I placed the order) package had arrived.

She sent me a cell-phone pic of two wonderful Stillwater Kilts we'd ordered. Black Stewart and Nightstalker Standard kilts.

Well! The quality of these kilts is outstanding. The material looks and feels very much like fine wool. the stitching is tight and consistent and the pleats are arrow straight, plentiful (I counted 32 pleats on the Black Stewart and I may have missed two or three). The pleating to the sett is nearly flawless.

The buckles and straps are sturdy, shiny, and new.

    They're fully lined too.

Quite a lot of bang for the buck.

    I'll have pics soon.

    Congrats!

I have an SWK Wallace economy. For the value, I'd love to get a few of their standards and wool heavy-weights.

Oh, does anyone know if there is a difference in the material between the economy and standard, or is it just the lining, sewed down pleats, etc?

Same material (acrylic) but as you mentioned, the standard has those added features plus more fabric yardage.

Well done! My wife is very fond of the striking Black Steward and keeps encouraging me to order the SWK Standard in that tartan.

    Cheers!

You should obey your wife -- if only this one time.

Congratulations Rigged on two great kilts. I don't recall though, do you have other non-wool kilts? I know you have some UK's. I was just curious if you were expanding into traditional style kilts or already had a mix of styles.

I have nine UKs; one Pittsburgh Kilt - Denim, Flannel-lined; and a Bear Kilt - Hunting Stewart.
