Then we all filed into the oak panelled dining room.

And pulled some crackers and then ate lots of food - I had fried mushrooms & salad, followed by cauliflower soup, followed by turkey with roast potatoes, beetroot, cabbage, brussels sprouts, chippolata sausages, stuffing and cranberry sauce; then a Christmas pudding in custard; then a mince pie; and finished off with a coffee. Guess I'll need to go on a diet after the Christmas break if my kilts are still to fit me!

Sound's like a fine evening. It's great to see you so thoroughly enjoying that RAF tartan. The only connection I've ever had with the RAF is many nights of Murphy's Irish Stout drinking with the RAF Airmen that lived in the same barracks (Ramstein, AB Germany) as us USAFers. I don't feel that makes a good enough connection for me to strap that tartan on though. haha. Great bunch of fellows most of them were though.

I truly appreciate those on the forum who are sharing their Christmas pics with us. I was kilted for all my various family gatherings, church and the last day of work before the holiday but unfortunately I'm always the one taking the pics and I'm rarely in them. Maybe someone will send me some pics they took of me!
