    Kilt to Spread Christmas Cheer

    Hello All and Merry Christmas,
I just wanted to post a special thanks to AlanH and GwenLass for conspiring to make me a new kilt for my Birthday/Christmas present. Alan made an unbelievably beautiful kilt with the finest workmanship. It is truly stunning in the MacKay Dutch tartan. My Dad provided my McKay heritage and my Mom provided my Dutch heritage, so I can finally acknowledge both sides of my family in one tradition (I could never get motivated to wear those Dutch wooden shoes, this is SO MUCH better). I will be wearing my new kilt to Burns Supper so those who are coming will get a first hand viewing and we'll post pictures after that night. Take care, George

    What a great gift!

But I'll bet GwenLass would appreciate seeing the new kilt at more than Burns Suppers!

    Congrats!
