    Hand Crafted Hopi Kilt Pins

One of the joys of living in "Indian Country" is the abundance of craftsmen. I have long coveted some Hopi pins to use as kilt pins. They're about the same size as the X Marks pin. I just never could justify the expense (about $80 USD up to $200).

My lovely lady has been paying attention to my desires and this holiday she gifted me with TWO such hand crafted Hopi pins. A Bear pin and a Thunderbird pin.

You can bet I have that safety rubberband deal on both pins. The craftsmen even put a little loop on the top of the back so the pin can be hung from a chain. I'm gonna see if I can use a safety pin through that too as an extra measure of insurance.

Pins are made of sterling silver.

    And they're both gorgeous.

As a lover of indian crafts as well, these are sublime. Well done Ron, you should take your lady to dinner in appreciation (and to show them off as well!)

Beautiful. I'm really jealous, as I don't have a single kilt pin yet...

Both are really cool. Every time I am around a craft booth I look for items that were not originally intended for, but could be used as kilt pins.

Both are very nice, they really show the kind craftsmanship you rarely see anymore, just beautiful.

I still have absolutely no use for kilt pins and still consider them an unnecessary piece of jewelery BUT those would make grand, fantastic, incredibly wonderful brooches for a flyplaid!

    I'm jealous!
