    Yorkshire Pudding

On a completely unrelated note... About a year ago, we had a thread (that I can't seem to find) that devolved briefly into a discussion of Yorkshire Pudding. Anyway I was downloading the Christmas pics, and here is one of our rib roast and pudding (served with the highly traditional bowl of edamame with parmasean cheese)

MY mom used to make Yorkshire pudding when I was a younin. We actualy named one of our dogs York because we were eating yorkhire for dinner the night dad brought him home.
i can still remembet the taste and smell. yum!
    is it difficult to make?
Is it alway only served with a rib roast?
i recall a large roast beef was the meat being served.

Having just finished off a plate of mini-yorkshires stuffed with roast beast and horseradish, that pic leaves my tummy even more satisfied. It's a good thing I am so bloody full.

Yorkshires are fantastic and *so* versatile!

You can have them both sweet and savoury.

Expecting to have some on Friday night when friend Andrew and I go out kilted for a belated Burns celebration at a carvery!

I make Yorkshire pudding whenever I cook roast beef. It's as simple as can be, and tasty.

I can't have that. Not yet.

On the other hand, I'm down to 202lbs as of this morning...

    (That's about 92 kilos, or 14.5 stone...)
