Cavscout 3" belt - another review
First of all, let me tell you that there is no comparision to any other belt I own. The leather is really soft and the backside is smooth as a baby's bottom. Steve did great work and, in addition, is a really nice guy!
Secondly, this belt is HEAVY. I placed it on a scale and it weighed in at over 4 pounds! This is heavier than the kilt I am wearing in the following picture! While it is heavy, it feels really nice around the waist. For those of us who shop in the MENS section, it is a nice adjustment. Likewise, being a man of substance, this belt gives a nice look to the overall outfit.
I know at this point, you all are screaming for pictures! Well, here is one with the belt on. (Please ignore the large guy smiling at you and focus on the belt!)
And here is a closeup of the belt itself
Lastly, sorry about the black leathers with the brown kilt. I have taken steps to rememdy that with future leathers from Steve.
So, what can I say that you have not already heard about Steve's work. Just one thing, Go and buy some of his leather.... You WILL NOT be disappointed.
Mike

Your kilt has black in it. No worries.

Oh Man, I laughed out loud about "the large guy smiling at you..."
You have a great sense of humor. Cool belt too.
At 4 lbs. you'd have to be a Scot to wear one!

It must be. Steve has been working like a madman to get these out to us. It must be something about big guys named Mike that leads us to the same accesories!

That is good advice Robertson, I did indeed buy a sporran strap from Cavscout at the same time I bought the belt. However, when I am going to be sitting all day, I find the hangers to be a whole lot more comfortable!
