Just a reminder
The handfasting ceremony is still on. It is looking like around the first of Octogre, or there abouts.
Between now and then, I'd like to make sure my wife gets her kilted skirt... I'd like to get an idea of how many people might like to come. I'd like to figure out where we will hold it.
And Jadewink still needs a maid / matron of honour. I think she is going to ask Kat about that. I am pretty sure Beuth is going to do the whole minister thing. I have no clue what I am doing... I think I need a best man? Wife and I have never really done anything like this before... All I have ever been to were highly dysfunctional weddings that went really bad. So I have nada to go on for experience. I certainly don't want it turning out like those.
Mostly, I know what I'd like to have happen, but no clue how to do it.
Neither one of us wants our own families showing up and wrecking everything, so we need you folks to, well, act as family.
Remember, bring a ribbon, string, strap, scrap, or something to tie hands.
I think this is the first real normal thing we have strived for. Something wholesome and good and life affirming.
Thanks in advance.
