Four years...
I've been reading about this for a while now... Pecticides, high fructose corn syrup, immune problems, all of which have been discussed. I've heard the cell phone thing a few times, and each time, it is gaining strength.
The other very plausible theory is genetically modified bees and genetically modified foods causing problems in the natural order.
Whatever is happening, there are about to be some dire consequences for screwing around with the natural order of things.
NATURE LAUGHS LAST!

I been hearing about this for a few months. Relating it to cell phones is one of the newer theories. Its scary though. We need to get to the bottom of this problem, if we loose all the bees, its not just honey we'll be without. We stand to loose most of our food sources

hmm...sounds like someone need to start making Bee kilts.
that way, the queen will without a doubt be motivated to find all of her kilted colony!

And what of other sources of radiated RF energy? It's not as if cell phones are the only source.

Sadly, in this wonderful world of greed, profit comes first......Does anyone really believe that ANY cellphone manufacturer will pause & take a sympathetic view, THOROUGHLY investage & take steps to stop this? No.
I think that the Cellphone angle has a frightening weight; Any problems that may potentially occur through cellphone usage (including transmitter masts & boosters) will only start to appear some years after prolonged usage.
I am a professional modelmaker by trade, and some years ago I was involved with a job where a couple of replica human heads were required (resin skulls, with the same wall thickness as real bone with a layer of silicone for skin & muscle tissue....We also did hands). These items were then fitted with sensors to measure radiation absorbed by head & HANDS from a cellphone that was rigged with them.....Not once have HANDS been mentioned in any article I have seen regarding mobile phone radiation absorbtion.....What is the one thing that is in direct contact with that phone other than your ear?
The job was done for a bunch of scientists investigating cellphone radiation.....None of the three who came to the workshop appeared to have a mobile phone......Doesn't that make you think?
Sadly, profits come first - The cellphone manufacturers are too busy trying to win the phenominal amounts of disposable income from the waste of space we know as "The Next Generation".....And despite what anyone may say, those kids don't give a f*** about the knock-on effects & the price to be paid for over-indulgence in what todays society throws their way in the form of either must-have gadgets or fast food. It is all down to greed......And that will be what will bring this species down. We probably deserve it too.
To quote a line from that classic sci-fi film ALIENS: "We're in some real pretty sh*t now!"

*gasp!* No more honey?! I couldn't live with out honey. What would I put in my tea? I go through about a gallon of honey in two to three months. No more veggies and flowers and stuff? Oh that sucks!
I'm dyslexic and it took me a couple paragraphs before I realized that I was reading about "cellphones" and not "cellophane." Funny, huh?

No more trees. No more fruits and nuts. Most of the flowering grasses would die... Which means animals could not graze.
Bees die, and potentially thousands of other species go with them, including us.
