Anybody see Spiderman 3 yet?
What did you think? I saw it Saturday at an Imax. I thought it was pretty good, but almost 'too much' on the Imax screen. In a lot of the action scenes it was hard to keep up with everything moving around so much because the screen is just so darn big.
I was kilted for the evening but didn't turn many heads. Have to try harder next time

I saw it, and it wasn't bad, but it was nowhere near as good as the first two.
It was almost like Raimi spent so much time on story and character development that he got to the 2:15 mark in the editing and said "Oh crap, we need to wrap this up." The movie was way too slow in spots (although I understood the point of showing just how much the symbiote was taking over Parker) and then rushed at the end.

I've often felt that the third movie of a superhero franchise is overly ambitious, that they try to cram too much into a single film. X:3 was that way, and I think Spiderman 3 was this way, as well.

Saw the first showing (beside midnight) at 11:30 am on Friday afternoon. It was pretty good. No acting awards for this one, but it was a fun movie. I did find that they were trying to fit too much into to short a time. I didn't care about the Sandman part in the film and wished that the Venom role was bigger.

Yeah they should have focused more on one villian or the other and not tried to have two in the same movie. I wished they had done more with Venom as well.
I liked the Sandman too, I thought the effects were very well done. And I think Thomas Hayden Church is a really good actor. Never would have thought that watching "Wings" but he is really good in dramas.

So is the movie worth spending the 8-10 dollars per ticket to go see, or should i wait for it to hit the dollar theatre, or rent it?

It was worth the $13 cdn in my opinion.

I thought it was worth it but would like to see it on a regular size theater screen so I can watch the action without spraining my neck trying to see it all. :-)

I really liked it...although I will agree that it was a busy movie. The first major fight scene between Harry and Peter was dizzying. Overall very good though, I loved the element of comedy in this one.

The advise and input we can find here is still amazing! Was wondering about S3, but had not asked here yet.
