    Extra Long Garter Ties

    Just a heads up....

For those of you who have been interested in our traditional garter ties (see:http://giftshop.scottishtartans.org/garters.html) but were concerned that the 36" length would be too short for larger claves, I'm having some of these made up that are going to be about 10" longer, or approximately 46" in length.

They will be a few dollars more (exact price yet to be determined), but it won't be that much more. Right now I've ordered only four colors to see what the demand is like (black, tartan red, bottle green, and ancient blue). If there is enough of a demand for the longer size I would consider stocking them in the full range of colors.

It will be a few more weeks before they are in hand, but as soon as they arrive I'll put them up on the web site (and post here, as well). If anyone is interested and wants me to set aside some for them feel free to email me or PM me and let me know.

Also, for those of you asking about getting the garter ties in yellow, I'm working on that.... I'll post here as soon as I know anything definite.

    Aye,
    Matt

Thanks for that post Matt. I did not want to let the cat out of the bag, so to speak...!!! Guys, this is a great opportunity for those of us with the larger calves to experience the comfort that the skinnier guys enjoy! So, order away (I DID!)

Matt, you are certainly a responsive businessman. I had avoided ordering the traditional ties because I worried they might not be long enough.

I WILL be ordering when you get them in.

And I'm looking forward to seeing the yellow/gold ties, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Yeah, what he said! I like the ancient red and the bison I already have, but would love to have yellow!
