WPG WWI (replica) kilt apron
It's not beautiful...maybe even ugly, but it will keep my kilts clean when working. Made of sturdy (but not heavy) khaki cotton, has a front pocket, a few pleats on the rear for freedom of movement, closure on the right side.
It's a replica WWI wrap around kilt apron (UK 1917 model)
$35,00
Straight out of the package, so it's wrinkled a bit, but I don't mind...it doesn't have to look sharp.
Really pleased with it and it took 5 days to reach me...and for once Dutch customs gave me a break

I've been trying to wear an apron when I do my leatherwork. Too much chance of a drip of glue or spray of dye going astray. And for some reason my UK mocker has gotten a lot of pilling in the midsection. I can't figure that one out.
You'll be able to work a lot more confidently around the shop with that apron on, Robin. No more worries about kilt damage.

That looks downright handy Robin! I hope you get a lot of good use out of it.

Robin, do you have a WPG kilt also? I'd love to see a photo of one of those too!

Nice one, Robin. Very useful for your workplace.

When treated with waterproof spray it can probably also be used as a "kilt raincoat", it takes a minute to put it on.

I've been thinking about starting to do some kind of bench work. I have a nice little buidling next to the house that is just begging me to dry wall it and set up a work bench and make something useful. When I finally get around to doing that, one of these will be in order. Very very neat.

Excellent idea, I could see putting one in the boot, just incase, you know right beside my pipes .

Practical, good looking and even properly pleated in the back...What more could a Kiltie want?
