Music on a chilly evening
Filling the night with music...that bonfire was a welcome source of warmth on a chilly March evening. Taken before I sprouted a beard. That's a Sportkilt 'Hiking Kilt' - unfortunately a friend (who took the photo) had borrowed my heavier weight job for this private occasion, up high in the damp Welsh hills.

What is that peculiar object that you seem to have hung about your neck?
Is that an example of that rare musical instrument, the Welsh Horizontal Piano Style Bagpipes?

....just having you on...I'm the proud (?) owner of one of them things myself.

...surely you mean Welsh Vertical Piano Style Bagpipes? The Horizontal version would be the hefty wind peddled harmonium - more suited to throwing on the fire than playing. I often refer to my pi-arno accordion as a wheezebox.

I was thinking of the horizontal pumping action.
And what's the difference between a harmonium and an accordian?
The Harmonium burns longer.
