    Leatherneck tartan material on ebay

It's been up for a while, so he must have a mess of it. The price is good, I don't know about the quality.

They state that the fabric is the last 4 yards. That it is 16 oz. new wool, woven in Scotland, with kilt selvedge.

    I just placed a bid.

I hear a Military Box Pleated Traditional calling my name.

Yes, I've been thinking hard about the Gordon for a while. If I ever wanted to gulp hard and try a military box pleat, that'd be the stuff to do it with.

I've got some of that (the 16 ounce Leatherneck, that is!), and Barb T does too! I'm no hand at judging worsted wool (and in fact haven't even held it yet) but Barb---well, let's just say she wrote the book!----and she said that it looked "beautiful" when she received our order.
