Kilt Pin for the Maple Leaf
I have been looking for a while for a suitable pin for my Maple Leaf tartan, even before the kilt was made with all the pins that Grant acquired spoken for it left me looking for something else, well the pin I found and ordered from ebay arrived today, it is actually a brooch but it works wonderfully with the Maple Leaf tartan, so here is a picture I took as soon as I had it out of the box and securely fastened to the kilt:

McMurdo, Wow, that is nice. What better way to go with the Maple Leaf tartan and a great conversation piece. One would actually think you have it all together Good for you!

Nice pin Glen. And as a bonus this picture is the closest to showing the beautiful colours of the Maple Leaf tartan.

Very nice, and quite different from the usual run of pins. So many folks on this forum have unique accessories.

That's lovely. Oddly enough, I have a maple leaf brooch pin on its way, also off of eBay, for use as my kilt pin. Great minds think alike! ;)
It was actually between that, a silver polar bear, or a silver beaver.

'Tis where I got my maple leaf kilt pin although in my case the analogy would be more like "fools seldom differ" with respect...

That's a very lovely variation on the Maple Leaf kilt pin theme!

That is sweet! It reminds me of the kilt pin Matt showed off a while back of a dogwood blossom.
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon
