New Job
I just got the call for a position at a school, its for the "harder" to handle Special Education students that can't be included or mainstreamed into the general education population. This is the last chance for many. I have 5th graders all ED, a total of 8 in a self-contained classroom. I will be teaching all subjects. I'll also have two Teachers Aids to help. I start next Tuesday. I am shocked to say the least, its all happened very quickly.

Congratulations David!!!
After 30 years in business I find myself transitioning into teaching. In Sept. I will be starting my 2nd year at a Continuation HS. It's a wonderful feeling to know that you are helping those who need it. In my situation the problems are usually self created, but if we can help its a beautiful thing.
You must have the patience of a Saint, I've had limited exposure to ED students. Best of luck to you.
Go forth and do some good,

Seriously, you're the right man for a job that will put you on the razor's edge.
Have fun with it, though. You'll never regret taking it on!
