My New Henderson Box Pleat
[IMG][/IMG] Here are a few of the new photos of my new Henderson 4 yard Box pleat kilt in the Old and Rare weave by the mill of House of Edgar. It was made by our own Matt Newsome of The Scottish Tartans Museum. It fits exactly as it should and feels Great. With it I have the black 2" leather belt with the Henderson buckle, Black Rob Roy sporran, Lovet blue hose with black flashes, and Black Ghille Brogues. And of course , My Little Boy Sam Puppy

That is a CRACKING fine outfit, KK. Matt starts my kilt tomorrow, and I am starting to drool a bit.

Looks great Mark! Of course, I'm a bit "biased" on this one. I've ofen wondered about the Edgar "old and rare" weave of this tartan. From my monitor it looks very close to the "ancient." Very very nice. I really like the blue hose with it. I need to get a pair in the right shade of blue to match my weathered Henderson box pleat. Matt, you've done the Hendersons proud again!

That kilt looks wonderful, and a very smart outfit overall, I really like the shot with Sam.

House of Edgar has some great old and rare tartans, glad you found them. Kathy Lare sewed up my Cameron Black and Red from the HoE Old and Rare line. I love it. Something about the olde tartans that is so subtle and beautiful at the same time.

That's a beautiful kilt, and a lovely tartan. I wish House of Edgar had more display images of the fabric in their old and rare collection.

Happy new kilt--just my opinion I would prefer Lovet Green Hose with that outfit
