Cincinnati Celtic Festival

Next weekend is the Cincinnati Celtic Festival ( http://www.cincinnaticelticfestival.com/modules/home/ ).

Strangely enough Yeti was talking about coming to town before I realized that it was festival weekend (they moved the dates this year), and we were thinking about doing dinner. Anyway, as it stands now, I plan to be at the festival Saturday after about 6 pm. Any locals planing to be there as well?

I will probably swing down in the late afternoon - 4:30-5:00ish or so, depending on whether I'll have anyone in tow or not. I'll look for you.

Do you know if there'll be a UK booth this time?

I'm still planning on being there about 6.

There is a slight possibility that Yeti and I are getting together for dinner tomorrow sometime (possibly at the fest, possibly somewhere else), and all are welcome.

The Cincinnati Celtic Festival was held this year at Sawyer Point, one of the Queen City's crown jewels, I think.

There were not very many people in kilts that I could see.

Lots of booths, plenty of ale, and the usual fair food (inlcuding that Scottish staple, LaRosa's Pizza), Six different stages for music, performances, or workshops, including one viewed from the wall.

Adam's partner Maureen snapped a photo of the two of us. Maybe he'll post it.
