Slow in coming
Well, my Bride and I spent 3 weeks in Scotland (not near enough time) and we finally have some pictures to share. We took over 300 photos but we wont subject you to them all. We had a wonderful time on a guided tour and then spent a week on our own and a hired car visiting friends and places not on the tour.
A special "Thank You" to Robertson and Emma for their warmth and hospitality during our stay with them.
To Alex and David, sorry we could meet up while we were there, just means we have to come back so can can meet you all in person!
Here I am with the most beautiful woman in the most beautiful place - Glen Coe

While I may not be kilted (last man on the left) I did manage a smile after being totally beaten at Shinty - refered to as leagalized mayham! (notice the taped - dislocated thumb)

While 3 weeks may seem to be a lot to those left here at home, it wasn't near enought time to see it all or meet all those we had hoped to meet.

Excellent pics, Tim, sorry we missed you when you were oh so briefly at Dumfries - you'll have to come back again soon and stay a bit longer and see more of the sights in the south of Scotland.
Nice to hear that you had a go at shinty, a game which I've never tried as it isn't much played here in the south of the country.
Your first two pics serve to confirm that the kilted guy wins the bonnie lass.

Excellent pictures Tim! It's nice to see one of the Nor Cal Rabble at Robertson's door.
