NEW (to me) MacIntyre Ancient hunting?
I just won this kilt on eBay for a total of about $35Cdn including shipping. It's wool so it should be a good Canadian-winter kilt.
From my research, I think this is an ancient hunting MacIntyre tartan in "new wool" by Hectore Russell. It looks like the kilt pin is a MacIntyre clan kilt pin.
Can anyone confirm the tartan?

I cannot confirm or deny that it is a MacIntyre Hunting.

I thought the two squares were made up of white and blue from the seller's eBay photo, but the above looks like black with Douglas Ancient; with MacIntyre ancient, it's red.
Douglas (Green) WR1032
This could be a nicer tartan than I thought at first.

Rocky, I know your expertise so you're probably right. I suppose the tartan doesn't have to match the kilt pin badge. I'll take some photos when I get the tartan and see if looks any different using my camera.
Here's the kilt pin that was sold with the kilt.
Barclay, Elliot, Gunn, Hamilton, MacMillan, MacRae, Matheson, Morrison...
The pin isn't MacIntyre, nor Douglas, and while the pin may be MacMillan, it surely isn't the tartan.
Here's the Douglas clan crest.

I actually have that EXACT SAME kilt (Douglas Anc) that I made for myself in a 5 yarder (pleated to the ***** stripe). It's one of the 3 I'm selling as "gently used" since I lost weight.
