    Death of Kevin Dubrow

    For those of you who don't know, Kevin Dubrow, lead singer of Quiet Riot, died this sunday. His reasons are unknown and an autopsy is being performed. He was 52 and had a great career.

    Background: quiet riot was a heavy metal band from the 70s and gained popularity in the 80s.

    That's sad. I only know the band because of Randy. Bunch of skinny kids.

    This was sad to hear. QR had a long career, introduced Randy Rhodes to the world and helped revive Slade's career for a while.

    It is sad for someone so young. They made it big on a song written by Slade but certainly had there day in the touring sun.
    It should be interesting to see how he died, I hope he isn't another musician fallen to drugs.

    'Tis sad indeed. I remember the early days of MTV. Kevin was a guest VJ one night in '83 or '84, and I recall him introducing one of the latest Bananarama videos as "Ramabanana". Spewed Pepsi all over the room at that one!
