I couldn't get to it either. Here's one that I found that looks pretty good:

A really good one is the list of Games on the NASGA database. The only problem with the database is that it is user updated, so if no one puts the game in it doesn't show. Most games do seem to get entered though, and being a database there are various ways to search. You can look by month, by states, etc...
It's also geared towards the athletic events, so if a Gathering doesn't have athletics it might not be entered. It's a good resource, but probably shouldn't be your only one.

I feel like an X-marks database would be pretty thorough. What with all of us here looking for an excuse to strap on the kilt, listen to some great music, meet wonderful people and enjoy a refreshing beverage or two of our choice, we should be able to get just about all of them!

No need for a new data base, just post your local games and links on the X-marks Calendar. Posting guidelines are here.

How about official, updated listings? The Alliance of North American Pipe Band Associations web page has links to all the North American pipe band associations, each of which has up-to-date listings of events in their region:
http://www.anapba.org/
(At least, I know the Southern US Pipe Band Association does, and I checked the Western US PBA, and they do too.)
These would just be gatherings at which there are pipe band competitions ... and that's the big reason I go.
