    My Youngest Daughter

    I just received word from my ex that my youngest daughter Abby had to have an emergency apendectimy early this morning, she just turned 18 and was very scared about the whole thing.
    Any thought and wel wishes sent her waty would be deeply appreceated.

    Hope she recovers soon.

    My sister had her appendix out in the early 50's, and she was sick recovering for many weeks. Later, after having children, she said that the pain was worse than childbirth.

    I was scared too ,when I had the same thing done!The worst should be over ----get well soon.

    Yeah, it really should be no big deal. I had mine out later in life than that, and it was an emergency, but not ruptured (which really complicates things). Sore for a while, but at 18 she'll bounce back quickly. Happy thoughts her way

    Best wishes to Abby for a speedy recovery. Hospitals can be scary. I'm sure you'll all find the strength to help each other through this.

    Best wishes, since it's a planned surgery and not an emergency it'll probably be laproscopic and she'll be back on her feet in a few days, and barely noticing it in 2 weeks.

    After my gallbladder surgery I walked 3 blocks 3 days after, of course I wasn't supposed to... but I did.
