Sorry, I'm in a rush, but I just had to post some pics.

Will post a review later this weekend hopefully.

    Thanks for looking!

    Jones mode intensifies

    Mike,
Congratulations on getting one of Rocky's kilts. Looks good on you!
I now have an on body look at the tartan I have ordered from Rocky. Mine in the Semi traditional line.
    Anticipation........

    WhoDeySchenk,
Welcome to the jonesing for the Semi trad American Heritage. I hope Rocky has many bolts of that tartan, as we aren't the only ones with it on order. .....

    SteveB,
Thanks. You're going to love your kilt!

    Cacunn,
Any day at the post office is a happy day, right?

    SFCRick,
    Thanks!

    McClef,
Thanks. The shirt is a souvenir from a Vegas trip. They didn't get all my money, and I got a shirt to take home. ;)

    cessna152towser,
I only have 2 tartans, this one, and the HBC tartan. I wanted to have some sort of connection to any of the tartans I got, and since my wife is American, I thought this could apply.

    James MacMillan,
Now this one is a more appropriate length in your view, correct? I believe I have about 26 kilts now.

    WhoDeySchenk,
You're also going to love yours. One day I'm going to invest in a semi-trad as well, but this was a nice way to test out Rocky's wares.

I ordered this kilt just as Rocky's special on the off the rack kilts was coming to a close. I emailed Rocky with my measurements, and he said that he thought he might have something for me, and to give him a call. Well, a few minutes later, I was ordering it up!

Now, I'm a big fan of pockets, and of course, that's just not there for the most part on tartan kilts. I did however, get a modification done to this kilt, I added a crotch pocket on the inside apron. So, I do have one pocket.

This kilt is also in my top three for comfortable kilts. Super simple to toss on, and easy to wear about the house. Looks nice enough to wear out as well!

It looks great, and the fabric is also really nice. It's on the lighter side, but has a nice feeling to it. I also like the USA Kilts patch that's on the bottom of the apron.

Now, if any of Rocky's kilts came with hidden slash pockets, I would already have at least one on order. Until then, I'm more than content with this casual model (already thinking of wearing it to the airport, no metal! and super comfort for on the plane) and will eagerly recommend them to anyone that asks.

    Thanks,
    Mike
