Help with embroidery file
Hello,
As I have stated before, I work for a non-profit in one of their small branch offices. Our office is looking to have some apparel made for special events and for volunteer recognition. The staff is paying for all of their own apparel and we are using our small volunteer recognition budget for the volunteer’s shirts.
Now here is where I need help. The company that is going to do the embroidery for us is going to charge us a $150 conversion fee unless we can find our logo in a .DFT (or is it .DFP). The conversion fee will eat up most of our volunteer budget.
Is there any software I can find online that can help me convert our logo myself to save us money??
Thanks,
Sara

Here's a link to a free embroidery digitizing program. http://www.thredworks.com/
You might want to e-mail them before downloading to confirm the file extension id .DFT or .DFP

I used an online digitizing company called http://www.123digitizing.com to do the belt logo digitizing for our martial arts club, I was very pleased with the cost and quality.
