How do I send this kilt?

    Hey y'all-
I'm going to be shipping the Black watch kilt I just sold, and I'm not sure quite how to do it. I received it on a kilt hanger, so how exactly do I pack it?? thanks in advance-Josh

Use ..this.. tutorial and it will tell you how to roll a kilt. It is the best way to mail or pack a kilt.

And be kind to the receiver and bag it in some sort of plastic bag so that if the shipping carton gets dinged the kilt is protected from dirt and liquids...stuff gets crushed and broken all the time. Leak protection can't hurt.

How true! When I travel I use a cut off panty hose leg (just ask your wife to save them for a while, or buy some really cheap ones at the drugstore) then lay them in the suitcase like little kilt sausages. It would be a further protection to drop the kilt sausage into a leaf bag when mailing them.

Get one of those vacuum packing bags(the ones that you hook up to the vacuum cleaner). Large enough to lay the kilt flat. Seal it up, and suck it down locking the kilt in the flat position with the pleats flat. once vacuumed, the kilt is ready to be placed in a box.Bend it if you want , it will not hurt the pleats. The pleats are pressed down until opened by the reciever. Good luck.
