I almost ordered a pair of ghillie brogues from them. I decided that $40 for shipping was a little too extravagant for my taste, so first impression is that they have decent prices, but shaft you on the shipping, for whatever that's worth.

They are not part of the gold brothers, and the quality it great. I have a tweed jacket and waistcoat from them, a 16oz hand sewn kilt in MM wool, a 13oz machine sewn in Lochcarron wool, a seal skin dress sporran and several pairs of hose.
Their gear is great and the prices are nice on the wallet. The shipping was never an issue for me.

I can second colin's post, I have a tweed argyle/vest, a machine stitched poly kilt and a handstitched tank (in Locharron IOS) from them and their service was fine and the products are very nice indeed.

I purchased an Argyle outfit, 16 oz GA tartan and I am very pleased with quality of the products. The staff was very helpful and courteous, and the shipment arrived a month earlier than expected so I was able to wear the kilt for dinner on Christmas. I have attached a link below if you would like to have a look see. Beware of the customs duties imposed by FedEX. You may want to have the items shipped by Royal Mail.

I have two pics in the new Photo Gallery that show the 16oz hand sewn Ancient Watson tartan, the 13oz Weathered MacKenzie tartan, the waistcoat and jacket, and the dress sporran I ordered from them. The prices may be cheaper, but the quality and materials are not.

So, what you're saying is: less cost, but good quality. right?
