Dallas/Ft Worth: Sat. March 15th
Hey, everyone. Christo13 and I are thinking about going and seeing Spriggan at one of the two places they'll be playing on this date.
March 15, 2008
Lochrann's Irish Pub & Eatery
1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
6195 Main Street
Frisco, TX 75034
or
The Plaza Pub
8:00 PM - Midnight
1605 New York (near Park Row Dr.)
Arlington, TX 76010
We're not sure which one we're wanting to go to yet, or if Christopher will even be wearing his kilt. Just curious if anyone would like to join us and what your preference is?

Can't make it, Cynthia....I am going to be in New Orleans this weekend...unless I get really irked at my date and catch a quick plane ride home! Then yes, would love to join you and cry in my beer....

I hope you have a blast in New Orleans! Sorry you can't make it, but there'll be other times coming up, I'm sure -- looking forward to it!
Have a great weekend!

It seems a lot of the people in the area are more toward Dallas (I'm just assuming here), so maybe Lochrann's? I'm game for either location.
The Plaza is an endearing hole in the wall, and I like it. I've never been to Lochrann's and it got a thumbs up from Spriggan.
Have fun in New Orleans, Rowdy! I haven't been there in years and have been wanting to get back.

Christopher: I'm especially concerned about the time of the later gig, since you need to wake up early the next day for a run. I don't want you to be dealing with feeling groggy or coughing from the smoke at the Plaza. I have to admit, I'm kind of leaning toward the Lochrann's gig, too. There are other bands playing, which is why their set is shorter than the Plaza Pub gig.

I think you may really like Lochrann's.
They just had a favorable article written up in The Dallas Morning News Guide section (from this past week.)
Thanx Christo and Cynthia - I think I will enjoy it! I will try and not get arrested.

Hmmmm. Lochrann's from 1:00 to 3:00 in the afternoon....Hmmm.......
"My beloved America, thank you for your children. If your children want to become soldiers I will train them. When they are hungry I will feed them. When they are thirsty I will give them water. When they fight for freedom I will lead them. When they are unsteady on the battlefield I will motivate them. If they die on the battlefield I will bury them. So help me God."

Aye, the wife and are planning on being there, if we can fit it in between fencing lessons, Girl Scout cookie sales, oboe practice, etc... Look for us, I'll be in the Lamont weathered next to the reallllllly attractive redhead. (No, she's not Irish, nor Scottish - she's Swedish).

Wow! Sounds like a busy weekend!
I'm glad it'll be a short set. There's a lot of entertainment all weekend from the looks of it, but I think Christopher is wanting to get out and do something else (he's wanting to hike and get outside lately).
And Swedish, eh? Very cool! Christopher has Danish and Swedish ancestry.
If he does manage to wear his kilt, he has a Black Stewart Stillwater Standard.
It should be fun!
