Kilted at work... finally!!
My dream come true. I used to work at a grocery store, so the only time I was allowed to wear a kilt there was as a "costume" for Halloween. But, now I work at a small machine shop, and they don't care what I wear. So, since I got those $10 kilts at the flea market, my denim is now my work kilt! I feel liberated all over again. I'm gonna see how long I can stay "sobered up" from pants, now that I have no need to wear them anymore.

I love blue collar work. No one at work cares what I wear either. (of course there is no one else here, most of the time)

I can't help but think that the increased FREEDOM will improve the quality of your work.

Great! I hope that one day I could abandone the trousers forever as you did!
My job needs trousers now...
Congratulations for you!!!

Congratulations on the new job, and good luck being full-time kilted.
Unfortunately, as a lawyer, the only way I'm going to be kilted at work is if I move to Scotland. And probably not even then.

Not that I need the Scots legal profession that often, but I think you are right,I certainly have never seen or heard of anyone in the Scots legal world wearing the kilt,at work that is."Cessnatowser"may have a view on this?
